Ok I personally feel that with the players we had in the raid, we did very well and im sure we can make further progress on monday and Tuesday.
A minor hiccup at the start was soon forgotten, and all bosses were one shotted up to Putricide. We had several new members and one or two were new to these bosses. They seemed to cope fairly well overall. We did unfortunately need one 44% warm up on Putricide, before taking him down and then we went on to Dreamwalker which also required a warmup. However 8 bosses with only 2 wipes was a nice pleasant raid, with plenty of banter and hopefully enjoyment for all concerned.
We now need to take this forward on monday and do Blood Council and Blood Queen quickly so we can have plenty of time on Sindragosa. If you aren`t familiar with the tactics please read up and watch the videos on tankspot. I dont mind doing overview tactics on the night but i dont want to be teaching the blind
Congratulations to Ujcharmstone and Amillias for becoming full members.
We continued the raid on Monday and after a few warm ups, we took blood Council and started re-learning Blood Queen. I say re-learning, because although we have done this before it was a while back, and since then we have quite a number of new members who werent familiar with the fight. On Tuesday we managed to get Blood Queen down and then went to do some work on Sindragosa. These later boss fights will take some time to learn as many people in the raid havent even done this on 10 man yet so realistically i didn`t expect more than a learning curve. Imagine my suprise when the 3rd attempt got to 50% and the fourth to 25%! The 30% buff seems to really make a huge difference and i believe that with a little more DPS and focus we can do it next week.
If we take Sindragosa down then i will be extending the lockout until we take down the Lich King on 25 man. Then we can start on the heroic 25 man and all have a chance of some new loot.
Further congratulations to Jameswaah, Rosjoski, Euthymios and Torraman who all became Full members recently.
